Verre églomisé

Artwork

Verre églomisé is a French term referring to the process of applying both painted designs and gilding onto the rear face of glass.

Working on a commission basis, I create custom églomisé gilded glass artwork with a broad range of precious metals and embellishments, using traditional techniques with a creative approach. Whether you are looking for something special for your home, business or a gift for someone, I can work with you to create something unique that is guaranteed to catch the eye!

Mirrors

I create custom gilded mirrors using a variety of golds, genuine silver which can be incorporated into tabletops, splash-backs or wall panels. Unlike conventional silvered mirrors, the overlapping leaves create beautiful variations in the mirrored surface, which can be distressed to create unique interesting patterns.

Designs can also be incorporated into the mirrors by etching the metal leaf itself or painting and gilding other designs onto the mirror.

Bespoke framing is also available to ensure your mirror panel blends into it’s surroundings.
